My Monsters:Euclid (Dog Right) and Descartes (Dog Left). Release the Hounds!
|
|
The Monsters: Euclid (Dog Right) and
Descartes (Dog Left). Euclid is misnamed; He should
be named "Newton" because Isaac Newton and Rene
Descartes were contemporaries (empericist vs
rataionalist) even though they were philosophical
antagonists and my dogs are littermates. But I can't
change his name now; it would just confuse the poor
little guy. They like to swim!

Demolition Man: My own house caught fire
in 1999 and as a result I learned an awful lot about
the trades and I now consider myself pretty competent
in most of them. This was taken more recently, in
2008, when I burned down Katie's house, The Katie Cottage.
I did the demolition of the second floor. It
was pretty tricky with all that impaired structural
framing above my head, which was where I wanted to keep it
until I was ready for it to come down. In
demolition, surprises are a bad thing.

Circa:Christmas 2004: The beard is gone, as is the ukulele.

This is a very old picture taken for my prep school yearbook in 1975. It is dated, but I really like it, so I keep it.

This Dilbert just cracks me up. Dilbert in general cracks me up, but this one in particular.
