My Monsters:Euclid (Dog Right) and Descartes (Dog Left). Release the Hounds! |
|
The Monsters: Euclid (Dog Right) and Descartes (Dog Left). Euclid is misnamed; He should be named "Newton" because Isaac Newton and Rene Descartes were contemporaries even though they were philosophical antagonists (empericist vs rataionalist) and my dogs are littermates. But I can't change his name now; it would just confuse the poor little guy. They really like to swim! |

Demolition Man: My own house caught fire
in 1999 and as a result I learned a lot about
the trades and I now consider myself pretty competent
in most of them. This was taken more recently, in
2008, when I burned down The Katie Cottage, Katie's house.
That's a long story ...
I did the demolition of the second floor. It was pretty tricky with all that impaired structural framing above my head, which was where I wanted to keep it until I was ready for it to come down. In demolition, surprises are a bad thing. |

Circa:Christmas 2004: The beard is gone, as is the ukulele. |

This is a very old picture taken for my prep school yearbook in 1975. It is dated, but I really like it, so I keep it and use it a lot. |

This Dilbert just cracks me up. Dilbert in general cracks me up, but this one in particular. |
